How we work

A project provided by Gobisoft works in phases. Often projects we work on consist of a key deliverable, such as a content management system that integrates to an existing company intranet, or a web application that interfaces with various API’s like PayPal, Google Maps, OpenSocial.

We focus on delivering software in milestones or phases because it allows us to release early. Releasing early and often are key to ensuring deliverables are met on time but more importantly, adopting that philosophy in a maintenance contract means that we can adapt our software throughout the development life cycle. We’d rather release small improvements quickly rather than massive, potentially unstable change all at once. Phasing groups releases, for example a phase can consist of more than one release, often consisting of a release per feature block.

Using this mantra, bugs and inconsistencies can get fixed quickly rather than waiting for mass feature releases before a patch is made.
